In 1925 Giovanni Bossi and Renzo Batistelli founded Bossi & C. Transiti in Genoa, who in short time specialized in shipping by sea and by train of rice, timber and customs operations of general cargo. In 1960 the whole stock control passed to the Batistelli family, which still holds 100% of the shares. Bossi & C. Transiti, in addition to the Genoa historical Head Quarter, is present in Italy with its own offices and warehouses in Vercelli and Verona.
In 1997, with the development of trade with China, Bossi Pacific was established in Hong Kong, and between 2011 and 2017, branches in Shenzhen, Ningbo, Qingdao and Suzhou opened to provide a dedicated and high-level services. Today, Bossi Group organizes international maritime, air and land transport (freight and rail) for all types of goods to / from around the world, relying on its own offices and on a network of exclusive and dedicated agents present in all Five continents.

In 2021 100% of the shares were purchased by JAS Jet Air Service SpA, a group founded in Italy in 1978 and which today is among the main international players in the sector of international shipping, air and sea, and in logistics services. Therefore, today Bossi & C. is able to organize international sea, air and land transport (by truck and rail) for any type of goods to and from all over the world, relying not only on its branches but also on the global network of JAS present in all 5 continents.
