Our history
In 1925 Giovanni Bossi and his brother-in-law Renzo Batistelli established Bossi & C. Transiti specializing immediately in transporting rice and in customs operations of various commodities. In 1960 control of the company passed to the Batistelli family who today still hold 100% of the shares. Today Bossi & C. Transiti is able to organize international transport by sea, overland and air for any type of goods all over the world relying on our exclusive agents present in all 5 continents. At the end of 70's Bossi & C. Transiti became a Control and Surveillance company with his organization in Italy and with a network of world-wide agents (different from the shipping one) is able to offer inspections and quality/quantity control of goods. At the beginning of ‘80’s Bossi U.K. has been established in Manchester, and in the middle of ’90 following the increasing trades with China, Bossi Pacific Hong Kong and Bossi Pacific Shanghai have been opened.
